CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS- DC COMICS

CRISIS was released by dc to compete with marvel, marvel was growing with a very fast pace and diamond was nowhere in its competition, diamond comics was losing, the main reason being multiple versions of the same superhero which arouse confusion in readers mind and readers shifted to marvel. so diamond comics was searching a way to compete and regain its lost status. this was not happening without any new ideology, complete conversion of dc was needed. So, the idea of crisis came into being. the idea was to destroy all the versions of superheros except the one which was most liked by the readers, but since some characters of same dc universe were liked very much and some were just neglected by the readers, it was not possible to just save one dc universe and its characters, so they plotted a series named crisis, which will end in destruction of all the multiverses except one and all the popular versiions will be shifted to that universe. they called it to resemble the pheonix, wich arouse from the ashes. the first few comics of this series are listed below
